2-YEAR ANNIVERSARY - https://prasharihar.blogspot.com/
Earlier this week,
specifically on 11-January two years lapsed since I started my blog. Doesn’t time fly at super-sonic speeds?
2 years – 46 posts
– 10,000+ views and some invaluable comments from most of you. A testament exists in the form of digital
footprint of cherished comments that will last a lifetime. Whose lifetime is a discussion for another
day!
Each of you have
motivated me – your unannounced approval for me to forward the links to my new
blogs, the time you took from your busy schedule to read that, and then the
time you invested to leave behind a few comments on the blog or sometimes in
other social media platforms like FB, WA, LI, that was indeed feedback in
real-time.
Some of the ones that I enjoyed writing and I received some cool comments include:
- https://prasharihar.blogspot.com/2020/01/creative-juices-11-jan-2020.html - I started with a great degree of trepidation but then creative juices flowed. So glad that my procrastination till then did not kill my passion.
- https://prasharihar.blogspot.com/2020/04/you-poem-26-apr-2020.html - I wrote a poem and few beautiful
comments were posted which encouraged me further
- https://prasharihar.blogspot.com/2020/06/abhyangana-yesteryear-oil-bath-ritual_20.html - A personal favorite for the richness in
our culture and practices. It brought
back memories of unhurried life back during our growing-up days. It’s heartening to note that some places even
today practice this as a custom
- https://prasharihar.blogspot.com/2021/04/mysuru-road-trip-nostalgia-30-apr-2021.html - Once again reminded and helped me relive
the good old days of Bangalore Mysore travel by road. It can never be erased from our memories
given the restaurants and toys where one spent time in eternity
- https://prasharihar.blogspot.com/2021/09/single-handedly-18-sept-2021.html and https://prasharihar.blogspot.com/2021/09/anchored-25-sept-2021.html - Articles in sequence after my shoulder
rotator cuff surgery. It helped me to
share my experience, and many shared theirs.
Isn’t that the basic premise of writing…if it can elicit similar
emotions, experiences, thought-process in the reader?!
- https://prasharihar.blogspot.com/2021/11/great-wall-in-flat-world-20-nov-2021.html - A book I read and the person I met, helped
me put 2 and 2 together and a good challenge for me to pen it down. The comments were too good from all of you,
and it helped me connect at a different level with each of your thoughts…
I shall continue
to find time to write and shoot the links across asking you to read. Hope you enjoy the read and find time to
leave your valuable comments. What will
this culminate in is a billion-dollar question?
If it made one
person read through the write-up, if it made one person feel a similar experience,
if it made one person forward to another friend or group, if it made one leave
behind a comment, if it made one connect to their own life experience, if it
made one learn something new, if it made one feel motivated to start their own blog
or an article or a book, it puts a smile on my face with a sense of
satisfaction.
Someone asked me ‘why do you write?’ If only I knew, other than the fact a passion that I let blossom. Let us enjoy 2022 as a virus-free year taking us back to good old days!
